Finstertor

Rauschwalde

Rauschwalde has been a district of Görlitz since its incorporation in 1925. The neighborhood features a mix of Wilhelminian-era buildings, residential blocks of the IW64 type from the GDR period, and private homes. In the mid-1970s, five-story residential blocks with around 1,500 apartments were built west of Karl-Eichler-Straße.

Since its incorporation in 1949, Klingewalde has been a district of Görlitz. Located in the north between Königshufen and Ludwigsdorf, the village is characterized by a 1.5-kilometer-long main street.

Königshufen

The Königshufen settlement, located in the northern part of the city, was established starting in 1939. During the GDR era, the district was expanded with a predominantly prefabricated housing area. In recent years, the district has undergone extensive redevelopment as part of a neighborhood renewal project.

In addition to the diverse city districts, Görlitz includes several smaller localities, such as Deutsch-Ossig, Hagenwerder, Schlauroth, Ludwigsdorf, Ober-Neundorf, Kunnerwitz, Klein Neundorf, and Tauchritz. Here you can find more information about the districts of Görlitz.
