BMX in Görlitz: The support in the city makes it possible

"BMX connects people," say Tobi and Hannes from Adrenalin eV with broad smiles. The club runs the 15° BMX & Skate Hall on the Kühlhaus grounds in Görlitz. Many volunteers are involved in the club, offering children and teenagers the opportunity to pursue BMX individually. To help children and teenagers discover something new away from their computers and get to know new sports, Adrenalin eV even offers a free beginner's course once a month.

"I think it's great that we've really accomplished something here in Görlitz and received support from so many people. (...) We've always been met with open ears and received support. That makes me proud, because it's not a given everywhere. But here in Görlitz, it's possible."

The operation of the hall is made possible by the support of numerous stakeholders from the city – including financial support from the city of Görlitz. "Everyone can take this away from themselves: supporting new people who have something in mind. Giving people the chance to achieve something," Tobi and Hannes proudly add.

Visitors, primarily from the tri-border region, regularly come to Görlitz to ride their BMX bikes in the indoor track.
