As a main hospital in East Saxony, we aim to offer best possible care to our patients. Being an academic teaching hospital connected to the medicine faculties of the Carl Gustav Carus University of the TU Dresden and the University of Wroclaw, Teaching and Education for our highly qualified junior staff is part of our self-conception. We feel responsible for more than 1,300 employees, which makes us one of the biggest employers in Görlitz. We like to take these three challenges all around the clock, 365 days a year.
In the course of one year, we treat ca. 67,000 patients both with ambulant and in-patient care on the highest medical level.
In our 17 specialized clinics, subsidiary companies and medical expertise centres, people from different countries and disciplines cooperate with partners as doctors and nurses.
